7 Make sure the Wi-Fi hotspot you access is password protected and not available to the public.
8 If Internet speed is not crucial and nearby hotspots seem unsecure, use a mobile broadband connection if available.
9 If a website requires a username and password, look for “https” in the browser’s address bar as an indication the site is secure.
10 In general, use common sense when browsing the Web.
